About this Artwork

Birdcone and Acornpup are helpful characters in a game concept Sam Clover will be releasing fall 2024. The game is inspired by the devastating wildfires that have ravaged the western coast of the United States and Canada. The game includes battling fire demons, saving forest creatures, conducting controlled burns and extinguishing fires in order to unlock the map, and forging weapons in lava pools using the debris gathered.

Acornpup and Birdcone are guides to help you along to survive and rebuild the smouldering world. Species of plants and animals impacted by wildfires would be referenced in game to educate players along the way. 25% of game proceeds would go towards wildlife rescue and fire control operations.
