Madam Memoticon
Madam Memoticon is a conceptual artist exploring themes of womanhood, cyber aesthetics, and feminist metaphysics.
Since writing her thesis on feminist theory and earning her MA in Philosophy with honours, she has exhibited internationally. Her images have been published in Dream House: A Collaborative Zine in Honor of the 50th Anniversary of Womanhouse and LandEscape Art Review.
She participated in the Loop Art Critique art residency, led by FIU Professor Ariel Baron-Robbins and curated by Cassandra Herzberg of Gagosian gallery. The programme culminated in a solo exhibition combined with a group show held in the Metaverse. Madam Memoticon’s work was also featured in Cyberselves, a show curated by Internet artist Chetseruu along with the Finnish National Gallery’s Alusta Community. Her art was also selected for BitBasel Miami Art Week 2024: The Future of the Arts.
Recent exhibitions include the 2025 mowna Biennial, organized by The Museum of Wild and Newfangled Art (NYC), the Between Nature and Code AR pop-up event at EPIC Museum (Dublin), several pavilions at The Wrong Biennale, the Bitbasel NFT Art Gallery in Hollywood, ETHDenver 2026, and Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum (Arizona).
