Canopy Central is animated from an original 48″ x 36″ acrylic on canvas and shines a light on sloths—a call to witness both their strengths and vulnerabilities, and a reminder that conservation efforts must be ongoing if species like these are to endure. My use of color honors the vibrant regions of Central and South America they inhabit—places rich in cultural diversity and shaped by deep layers of Indigenous heritage, European colonial history, and African diaspora.

I am an award-winning, multidisciplinary, intuitive, semi-abstract artist working across painting, assemblage, and digital technologies to explore animal conservation, fragmentation, and humanity’s evolving relationship with nature, technology, and one another. My work responds to the rise of anthropocentrism, the irreversible effects of climate change, and the consequences of human behavior on global ecosystems.

My process is cyclical, fluid, and intuitive—an interplay between research and spontaneity, material constraint and conceptual intention. Each work becomes a record of exploration, labor, and reflection, shaped by curiosity and an ongoing conversation between humanity, technology, and the natural world.

I have exhibited in both physical and virtual exhibitions in galleries across the globe and continue to push boundaries as I learn, evolve, and grow.
