A chrome-clad figure documents the viewer while a phone screen reads “No AI”; transforming a simple act of photography into a test of authenticity. By reversing the direction of observation, the work places the audience inside the system of capture they normally observe. In an era increasingly saturated with synthetic images, the piece reflects on surveillance, authorship, and the growing tension between human creativity and machine generation.

“Human Verification” utilizes Augmented Reality to blend two worlds together; brining into question the “real reality”, Human v. A.I. art authenticity and who is observing who?
