About this Artwork

Geological formations meet ancestral languages in fluid motion. Scanned rocks become totemic anchors for Chinese, Arabic and Hebrew scripts of “water” that flow around stone surfaces.
The augmented sculpture explores how different forces shape matter—environmental forces carving stone, migration transforming language, water and time reshaping both. In the city’s landscape, these processes of change find new expression, creating a gathering space for contemplating how the forces of today will affect us in the future.
