The Day We Ran Without Fear
About this Artwork
An eye opens onto a road of memory: a child runs, butterflies rise, a voice calls from a porch – the world felt safe. It recalls a morning without sirens, where play was sanctuary. This work asks how peace begins: by remembering we could be the one on the other side; by feeling another’s pain as our own; by choosing tenderness over fear. It is a vow to protect childhood’s wholeness, to honour joy as a right, and to meet our past with a promise for a peaceful future.
