About this Artwork

This animation is created from my original large-scale painting. Polar bears embody the Arctic’s beauty & fragility, & as expert swimmers and indicator species, their declining health reflects rapidly vanishing sea ice. I embed cultural & symbolic elements within the silhouette of an iceberg to show how disappearing ice forces bears into exhausting, risky journeys. This visual prayer for balance invites viewers to feel their vulnerability, understand urgent ocean changes, & recognize our shared responsibility.
